Story of the World

For those of you who don’t know, Story of the World is a history curriculum suitable for most kids from 5 on up.  It’s a volume of three books, each covering a seperate time.  Ancient times, Middle ages, and Modern times.  Those of us in our homeschool co-op who happen to use SOTW get together once a month to do activities, and even though we are in the second book and the group as a whole is still on the first, we still go because it’s just so much fun to watch the kids apply thier knowledge.

The kids made Roman battle flags and grape leaf crowns in the last class, and BB had a wonderful time marching, crown on head, flag held high.  I love the phonetic spelling of the word “fight”.
